UNSC/R

Self Initiated project mapping the entire body of the UN Security Council Resolutions. The visualisation exposes the underlying role of the UN Security Council during and after the cold war, revealing the substantial increment of activity of the international organisation in the years following the fall of the Soviet Union.

UNSC/R stands for United Nations Security Council Resolutions. These documents represent the decisions of the UN’s executive body. This massive amount of data (more than 1700 documents since 1946) doesn’t come in any organised form. The project visualises over 50 years of scraped documents, highlighting those focused on resolving international conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

The design gained prominence as I was selected by DesignRush, known for promoting Best Design Awards, to be featured among The Best Print Design for Nonprofit Organizations Designs.
